Overview

Our research group is dedicated to harnessing the potential of advanced micro/nanoengineering technologies to cultivate high-value platforms with applications spanning human, animal, plant, and food production sectors. Our endeavors are directed toward spearheading the advancement of sustainable agriculture, food, and bio-industries by instilling immediate value, thereby setting a foundation for long-term innovations. These innovations are envisioned to significantly influence the paradigms of future agriculture.

The specific domains of our research include:

i) Micro-/Nanoengineering-based biofabrication: 3D printing, 3D bioprinting, electrospinning, soft lithography, and microparticle fabrication

ii) Agricultural Biomechanics Applications: Fall detection and prevention systems for agricultural workers

iii) Cell and Tissue Engineering Applications: Bone/Skin regeneration, Biomaterials, Dental implants, Organ-on-a-chip, Hydrogels

iv) Agricultural Biological Engineering Applications: Cultured meat, Bioprocessing of agricultural by-products (e.g., animal bone, chitosan)
